Greetings All,
It would appear that the level of interest has once again peaked (very cool!)... So we'd like to meet soon before the holiday is upon us. Hopefully we can lay some groundwork for heading into the New Year. We are looking at Monday, Dec 12th, at 7:00 pm, in the meeting room at the Panera Bread on Ulmerton Road in Clearwater (just off 275 at the southern end of the Howard Frankland bridge. We can discuss future meeting times and locations that evening. We will have feedback from the activities our members have participated in so far.
Please remember why you expressed interest in the first place. The overwhelming challenges in Africa haven't changed. Thousands die, contract aids and are left orphaned every day and it doesn't have to be happening. They lack the resources that we take for granted in getting aid to them and they don't have the agencies to help as we do here.
We hope you can make it. Please RSVP either way. And in the meantime, if you could do some surfing let's get as familiar with the situation in Africa, and the agencies in place committed to addressing it, as possible. The One.org website is a good start. (don't worry - there won't be a test... this time! )
If you wanted to make it but can due to schedule conflicts please let us know so we can gauge the interest at this point. Our email list has gotten pretty extensive - hope all remain interested. Look forward to hearing from you!
